Possible Snow and Freezing - Oct 23-25 in Eastern Idaho

Posted by hrcid on Thursday, October 21st, 2010

Weather forecast indicates wet, cold and snow Oct 23-25 week-end. An early winter blast will be hitting eastern Idaho over the next few days.

So, disconnect outside hoses. Install insulated hose bib covers (outside faucets). Check the outside pump house for those who have wells.

Inspect your furnace or heat source before you need to use it. Cleanup the grill on electric wall heaters, check filters...etc.(consult the instructions or operators manual for your heat source for details).  While this may be just a light snow and moderate cold weather. It's the first of the fall / winter season, so be ready and eliminate water or fire damage to your home, business or farm.
