2010 Ending with Frigid Weather - Possible water and fire damage.

Eastern Idaho will end 2010 with a blast of frigid weather. The New Year's week-end will see temperatures plunge to a minus double digits in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Blackfoot, Rigby, Rexburg and surrounding areas. That's with out any wind chill factor. With any wind (hard to believe in Idaho) the effects could be even lower.
Take precautions to protect livestock, pets, water lines and well houses. These lower temperatures could well cause frozen pipes and other water damages. If you use supplemental heating sources, ie, space heaters etc. Check the status of these appliances from time to time to prevent fires.
