Fire Damage: Part 4 - Fire Extinguishers
Posted by administrator on Monday, May 9th, 2011
Over the past week we have been posting, fire facts, from an article in the "East Idaho Home and Garden" magazine. Today we continue with fire prevention tips and ideas about fire extinguishers.
- Fire extinguishers should be mounted in the kitchen, garage and workshop.
- Purchase an ABC type extinguisher for use on all fires.
- Learn how to use your fire extinguisher before you have an emergency.
- Remember, use an extinguisher on small fires only. If there is a large fire, get out immediately and call 911 from another location.
Fire extinguishers remain your best bet if you're there when the fire begins.
