When a water damage occurs it's nice to know what you should do. In addition to contacting Henderson Restoration and Cleaning for help, notifying your insurance company, turning off the power to the affected area...here is something that you might want to do.
- Remove wet area rugs, furnishings and anything else on the flooring in the affected area.

- Prop up wet furniture cushions for even drying.
Wet furniture requires quick professional help to dry properly. One thing you can do, if furniture cushions are wet is to prop them up to allow air flow for even drying.

With colder days hitting Eastern Idaho. Increased water or flood damages can increase.
Here's todays tip: After turning off the water source (except for sewer backup) and calling Henderson Restoration and Cleaning at 529-5915. Where possible move furniture to a safe area or at least place wood blocks under the legs to lift them out of the water.
If furniture is to heavy to lift...we can help when we arrive.
Don't Use Your Home Vacuum to clean up water

After recent water damages and past experiences,we have the following suggestion: Don't use your household vacuum to remove water. Be it a spill, overflow, sewer backup or a flood.
